Copenhagen Nursery
Copenhagen Nursery is a shallow stretch of the Pompano Ledge right next to the SS Copenhagen shipwreck. At 15 to 30 feet it's one of the easiest dives we run, and it's a favorite for snorkelers, new divers and photographers.

What you'll see
Pieces of the Copenhagen's scattered wreckage lie along the ledge, and the shallow reef is packed with tropical fish. Our crews have spotted manta rays, hammerheads and even an ocean sunfish here.
Good to know
Because it's so shallow, you get long bottom times and lots of light. It's a great second dive after a deeper site, and a great first ocean dive after your Open Water course.
Who can dive it
Open Water dive. This dive site is shallower than 60 feet (about 30 feet at its deepest), so Open Water divers can dive all of it with us. Not certified yet? Start with PADI Open Water. Want more confidence and more dive sites? Take PADI Advanced Open Water.
