The RS-1001 is a smart all-around regulator: a balanced diaphragm R-1000 first stage with an upgraded HP poppet, paired with the compact S-0001 second stage. Intermediate pressure stays steady as your tank drains, so breathing feels the same at 3000 psi and at 700.
