Hillsboro Ledge
Hillsboro Ledge is a 5- to 8-foot ledge just north of Hillsboro Inlet. It's a short run from the inlet and one of the dive sites we visit most.

What you'll see
The ledge is undercut in places, so look under it for lobster, moray eels and nurse sharks, with schools of grunts and snapper along the top.
Good to know
At 34 to 40 feet it's a relaxed dive with plenty of bottom time, and it works well on days when we want to stay close to the inlet.
Who can dive it
