Are you an adventurous traveler who loves to explore the underwater world and experience new cultures? If so, then our Travel Club's recent Galapagos dive trip on the Aggressor III Liveaboard is an experience that you won’t want to miss!
Located in the Pacific Ocean, the Galapagos Islands are home to a diverse and unique array of marine life, and our dive trip provided us with the opportunity to see it all up close and personal. From penguins and hammerheads to whale sharks, dolphins, and marine iguanas, we were treated to sightings of an incredible variety of animals during our dives. We also saw eagle rays, turtles, sea lions, fur seals, tuna, schooling barracudas, and much more, making for an unforgettable diving experience.
But the Galapagos Islands have more to offer than just world-class diving. During our trip, we also enjoyed two land tours that allowed us to explore the islands and learn more about their natural beauty and history. The first tour took us to see the Galapagos Giant Tortoises, which are native to the islands and are truly a sight to behold. The second tour was a hike up to the summit of Bartolome, a volcanic island in the Galapagos. The views from the top were absolutely breathtaking and well worth the challenging climb.
Out of our group of 15 divers, 11 of us were able to earn the coveted Iron Diver award by completing every single dive offered. This was a particularly impressive accomplishment, as we were the largest group of Iron Divers that the Galapagos Aggressor has ever had!
If you're looking for your next adventure, we highly recommend joining us on one of our future trips. We have upcoming trips planned to Cozumel, Cayman Brac, Bonaire, Bimini, and Fiji, all of which promise to be just as amazing as our Galapagos dive trip.
